EVALUASI PENGGUNAAN OBAT CAPTOPRIL DAN AMLODIPIN DARI RESEP DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE ATC/DDD (Anatomical Therapeutic Chemical / Defined Daily Dose) (Penilitian dilakukan di Puskesmas Dinoyo Malang)

Background : Hypertension is disease of high blood pressure which is characterized by increase in systolic blood pressure ≥140 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure ≥90 mmHg. Hypertension can be caused by age factors and gender. Prevention of hypertension can use antihypertensive drugs such as the CCB (Amlodipin) and ACE inhibitors (Captopril) are given which adjusted to the clinical condition of the patient. To determine the quantity of drug Captopril and Amlodipin, a method for measuring the use of drugs from the previous year is needed, such as the ATC/DDD method which is a classification system and measurement of drug use by WHO as an international standard for measuring drug use. Research purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the use of antihypertensive drugs of the ACE Inhibitor (Captopril) and CCB (Amlodipin) classes at the Public Health Center Dinoyo Malang using the ATC/DDD method. Research method: Descriptive observation and data collection on antihypertensive drug prescriptions for the ACE Inhibitor (Captopril) and CCB (Amlodipin) groups were carried out quantitatively using ATC/DDD method in outpatients at the Public Health Center Dinoyo Malang from January to June 2020. Results and Conclusions: Results of The use antihypertensive drugs with ATC/DDD method were the most widely used, the first Amlodipin with dose 10 mg as much 72,91 mg DDD/1000 KPRJ/Day. The second is Amlodipin with dose 5 mg as much 20,93 mg DDD/1000 KPRJ/Day and the third is Captopril with dose 25 mg as much 0,89 mg DDD/1000 KPRJ/Day. The value of DDD Captopril on prescribing at Public Health Center Dinoyo Malang is lower than the DDD standard WHO and for Amlodipin is higher than the DDD standard WHO
