PENERAPAN METODE BERNYANYI DALAM PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA ARAB UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HAFALAN MUFRADĀT PADA SISWA MTS HASYIM ASY’ARI KOTA BATU

This research was conducted based on the number of difficulties experienced by teachers and students of MTs Hasyim Asy'ari Batu in memorizing Arabic vocabulary, because many students still have difficulty memorizing Arabic vocabulary. The purpose of this study was to determine the application of the singing method to the students of MTs Hasyim Asy'ari Batu and the effectiveness of the method in improving Mufrodat. The research method used in this research is quantitative with associative type. The sample used in this study was 20 students from class 7B of SMP MTs Hasyim Asy'ari Batu in the odd semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. The data collection method used in this study was in the form of observations, tests and interviews. Analysis of the data the data used include validity test, reliability test, paired T-test and effectiveness test. The results showed that the application of the singing method was done by asking students to write Arabic vocabulary written by the teacher on the blackboard. After students write, the teacher teaches how to read Arabic vocabulary correctly, then the students follow what the teacher says. After that, the teacher gave an example of singing tones in memorizing Arabic vocabulary. As for the effectiveness of the singing method, the average pretest value was 63.57 and the posttest was 82.80. As for the effectiveness test, it was proven based on the N-Gain formula with 46.66% results. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the Singing Method can improve the ability to "memorize" 7B grade students of MTs Hasyim Asy'ari Batu with the category of "quite effective
