PENGENDALIAN PERSEDIAAN BAHAN BAKU EDAMAME SEBAGAI BAHAN UTAMA FROZEN EDAMAME (Studi pada PT Mitratani Dua Tujuh)

Inventory control is an activity with a plan that has been carried out so that production activities will run smoothly. The production process is an activity to create or increase the usefulness of a product or service by using existing factors, such as labor, machinery, raw materials, and costs to make it more useful for human needs. The Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method is an inventory control technique to minimize the total ordering cost and holding cost so that the raw material inventory in the company can run properly and precisely. The purpose of this study is to obtain an inventory control system using the EOQ method that can provide the total cost of the inventory of Frozen Edamame raw materials at PT Mitratani Dua Tujuh. So by using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) technique, it can produce efficient inventory control that can produce a total cost to be applied to the company at PT Mitratani Dua Tujuh with an inventory cost of Rp. 36,274,877,890,000. Through optimal inventory control the company can determine the right order quantity and minimize inventory costs so that company goals can be achieved
