PENGARUH TINGKAT INFORMASI MELALUI MEDIA SOSIAL TERHADAP PENGETAHUAN MASYARAKAT TENTANG VAKSINASI COVID-19 (Penelitian Dilakukan Di Kecamatan Landasan Ulin, Kota Banjarbaru, Kalimantan Selatan)

Background : Covid-19 first appeared in December 2019 in a laboratory of Wuhan, Hubei Province, China. On January 13, 2021, the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, became the first receiver of the vaccination. News about vaccines and vaccine delivery schedules are published on social media. The reason for choosing social media is because the balance of information in this digital era, has an effect on the formation of public perceptions of the corona virus. Objective : Knowing whether or not the influence of information through social media on public knowledge about Covid-19 vaccination in Landasan Ulin, City of Banjarbaru, South Borneo Methods : This study is an observational study with cross sectional design. Sampling was done by non probability sampling with accidental sampling method. Sampling was done with slovin formula and obtained total 100 respondent. SPSS 23.0 was used to analyze the data. The analysis chi square was used to determine the correlation between independent variabel and dependent variabel. Result and Conclusions : In this study, it was found that respondents of information through social media about Covid-19 vaccination. 53% respodents in good level, 41% respondents in fairly good level and 6% respondents in poor level. Based on the results, 72% respondents in the level of public knowledge about Covid-19 vaccination is good, 19% respondents in fairly good level and 9% respondents in poor level. There is a significant effect between information through social media on public knowledge about Covid-19 vaccination (P=0,000)
