PENGARUH LINGKUNGAN KERJA TERHADAP KEPUASAN KERJA KARYAWAN STARTUP

The employee is one of the important contributing factors to the company because it has a significant role in carrying out all activities in the company. Companies have developed new policies so that employees be able to work online or merge their online and offline systems. A startup is a new company less than ten years old and relies on the internet to support its activities. A startup company that can be providing a quality work environment would increase the job satisfaction of employees. The work environment includes physical, psychological, and occupational aspects that can affect employee performance and productivity. Job satisfaction is the employee attitude that is directly related to the work situation and each individual has a different level of job satisfaction. Job satisfaction has a decisive role in supporting the achievement of organizational goals. The study aims to determine the effect of the work environment on the job satisfaction of startup employees. The method used in this study is a non-experimental quantitative approach with the design of causality. The instrument of this study is the work environment scale and job satisfaction scale in the format Likert scale. The subject is 300 respondents of startup employees taken by simple random sampling technique. The results of a simple linear regression test indicate that there is an influence of work environment on the job satisfaction of startup employees with a score of 26,9% while 73,1% were affected by other factors(R = 0.519; P < 0.000)
