PERANCANGAN SISTEM INFORMASI PENERIMAAN PESERTA DIDIK BARU PADA MAN 1 HULU SUNGAI TENGAH BERBASIS WEB

New Student registration is a series of data processing activities that play an important role in supporting the activities of educational institution in the context of carrying out the education process, while this activity involves the new registration process and announcing new student accepted. The process of accepting new students carried out by MAN 1 Hulu Sungai Tengah is currently done manually, resulting in various problems, from slow data entr, unorganized registration files and long registration queues. To be able to overcome the problems that occur in the registration of new students at MAN 1 Hulu Sungai Tengah, a Web-based Admissions Information System application was designed and developed using the Laravel framework with the Model-View-Controller (MVC) concept, which is a design pattern used in software engineering. The method through interviews and observation. To make the results as expected, this application was tested using BlackBox Testing and UAT (User Acceleration Testing). The final result of the design and development of this information system is the existence of an application that can facilitate of this information and the registration process so that the process of accepting new students becomes more effective and efficient
