ANALISIS EFISIENSI USAHATANI PADI SAWAH DI KECAMATAN TANGGULANGIN KABUPATEN SIDOARJO (Studi Kasus di Desa Ketegan Kecamatan Tanggulangin)

Agricultural development in Indonesia, especially food crops, aims to increase production and expand the diversification of agricultural commodities. This is useful for meeting domestic food needs and increasing income, standard of living, and welfare of farmers. One of the food crop commodities that have a role in increasing food security is rice. The rice plant which then produces rice is one of the agricultural products and is the staple food for most Indonesian people. The research design used is descriptive quantitative and qualitative research. Methods of data collection in the form of observation, interviews and questionnaires. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with a sample of 87 rice farmers. The analytical method used is the analysis of the structure of costs, revenues, revenues and production functions of Cobb Douglas. The results of the analysis show that the average income of farmers is Rp. 15,542,456 /planting season. At the level of efficiency the land area is already efficient then at the level of use of other production inputs must be reduced
