HATE SPEECH TERHADAP ETNIS TIONGHOA INDONESIA DI MEDIA SOSIAL

The Chinese ethnic group is one of the ethnic groups in Indonesia whose culture, religion and social class are mostly different from the indigenous citizens. On social media, many conflicts overwhelm the Chinese people in Indonesia. Theoretically, conflict between groups can arouse negative emotions specifically anger, exasperation, and hatred. One of the factors believed to be linked to hatred which comments on social media against people of Chinese who blame unequal social level, cultural and religious classes. The intention of the study was to determine the anomaly impact of hate speech on Chinese in Indonesia. The sampling technique uses a descriptive and non-experimental qualitative approach. The number of research subjects is unrestrained for the reason that the researchers collect comment on content, news, and thread across every social media. There are three social media used by the researchers, specifically Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. The data retrieval used for this study is descriptive analysis by examining the phenomena occurring under actual field conditions through data reduction analysis models, data presentation and conclusions drawn. Based on the three social media outlets used by the researchers, there was hate speech against ethnic Chinese consistent with the researche5r's dimensions
