STUDI ETNOBOTANI TUMBUHAN OBAT DI DESA SATHEAN DAN IBRA KECAMATAN KEI KECIL KABUPATEN MALUKU TENGGARA SEBAGAI SUMBER BELAJAR BIOLOGI

Sathean and Ibra villages are villages in Kei Kecil District, Southeast Maluku Regency which have an abundance of plants to be used as medicine. The use of plants as traditional medicine has long been known by the residents of the Sathean and Ibra villages. The knowledge about the use of plants as medicine is passed down from generation to generation, so it is feared that knowledge about the use of these plants will be lost by the progress of the times. The purpose of this study is to find out what types of plants are used, how to use medicinal plants, and what parts of plants are used as a treatment by Sathean and Ibra villagers. Sampling was carried out in Sathean and Ibra Villages, Kei Kecil District, Southeast Maluku Regency. This type of research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The sampling technique was carried out by purposive sampling. The data collection methods used were direct observation, interviews, documentation, and reference tracking. The data from the research results were analyzed descriptive-qualitatively according to the research objectives which would later be presented in the form of tables, photos, and pictures. The results showed that there were 36 types of medicinal plants used by residents of Sathean and Ibra Villages, Kei Kecil District, Southeast Maluku Regency. The use of drugs includes several ways, namely availability (20 types), smeared (6 types), eaten (3 types), and drunk directly (7 types). In addition, the plant parts used by the residents of the Sathean and Ibra villages, namely leaves (24 species), fruit (4 species), rhizomes (2 species), flowers (2 species), tubers (2 species), stems (1 species), and roots (1 species). Based on the analysis, the results of this study can be developed as a learning resource for high school biology class X related to biodiversity and its conservation
