EKSPOR BUAH TROPIS DI INDONESIA

Indonesia as an agricultural country has a lot of potential in the agricultural sector which contributes to Indonesia's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) as well as the process of increasing foreign exchange in export activities in the international market. During 2008–2012, the contribution of the agricultural sector to GDP was the second largest after the manufacturing sector with an average contribution of 14.84% (Ministry of Agriculture, 2012). Agricultural commodities in Indonesia are very easy to develop because Indonesia has a tropical climate, so the products produced are known as tropical fruits. Low attention by the government about horticultural products, especially on budget allocations for guidance and development. From this, a thesis entitled "Export and Import of Tropical Fruits in Indonesia" was prepared. This research has a purpose, namely 1). To find out the development trend of banana, mango, orange, and pineapple commodity exports in Indonesia to export destination countries. 2). To find out the export value of banana, mango, orange, and pineapple commodities in Indonesia to export destination countries. This study uses a quantitative descriptive design. Data obtained by reading or recording existing data, namely data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), scientific journals and other supporting tools that can assist research. Analyzing tropical fruit exports with trend analysis. The export volume of citrus, manganese, banana and pineapple agricultural commodities has a different trend from each country and time. The highest export volume of fruit is bananas with exports totaling 108,002,046 kg of bananas in 2014 to 2021. This indicates that the export volume of Indonesian bananas is the highest for commodities like manga, oranges and pineapples. Total exports of oranges from 2014 to 2021 were 210,145, mangoes from 2014 to 2021 were 6,765,989kg, pineapples from 2014 to 2021 were 64,451,278kg and bananas from 2014 to 2021 were 104,159,802kg
