Liquid desiccant air conditioning evaporative cooling system is an alternative to traditional dehumidification in hot and humid areas due to their advantages in being environmentally friendly, removing pollutants from the process air, and reducing electrical energy. The purpose of this project is to investigate the performance of the regenerator using an internally-heated regenerator to improve its performance. To increase the performance of the regenerator the effect of desiccant temperature, air temperature and humidity on the performance of the modified regenerator have to studied.
