The present experiment comprising of 15 pigeonpea (vegetable type) genotypes. The experiment was laid down in randomized complete block design with three replications at research farm, ICAR-Indian Institute of Pulses Research, Kanpur during Kharif 2014 and 2015. The ANOVA revealed significant variability among the characters under study. The genotype, IPAV1 recorded the higher mean values for pods/harvest (161.90±3.47), pod length (9.81±0.07) and seeds/pod (5.73±0.08). Similarly, IPAV5 recorded the higher mean value for pod bearing length (48.33±0.43).
