Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) is a very aggressive tumor with limited diagnostic and therapeutic options. Due to its proliferative nature and thick, desmoplastic stroma, PDAC tumor cells are challenged with meeting a high demand for lipids in a hypoxic, lipid-poor environment.
