STOPIEŃ KONCENTRACJI CHOWU TRZODY W KONTEKŚCIE OBROTÓW NA PLATFORMIE ŻYWNOŚCIOWEJ

Objectives The purpose of the article is to present the current level of concentration of pig producers and pig population, as well as structural changes that have taken place after Poland's accession to the European Union. The point of reference for the degree of concentration in Poland is the degree of concentration of producers and livestock numbers in countries such as Denmark or Germany. Material and methods The article was prepared on the basis of data from the Central Statistical Office, Destatis (NImemcy) and Danmarks Statistik (Denmark). Statistical analysis was used as the method. Results The analysis confirms that despite the progress in concentration, both the structure of producers and the pig population are still fragmented. Trading on the Platform will therefore probably require joint (group) action of producers and proper organization of this trade on the part of the Platform. Conclusions From the point of view of sales on the Food Platform, the fragmented structure is not favorable, as it affects the fragmentation of supply. Therefore, Platform Food is expected to improve the position of producers. However, for this to happen, farmers will have to form groups or organize themselves in a different way to strengthen their position. On the other hand, the Food Platform, at least in the initial period, should take on the role of a regulator or market coordinator. Cel pracy Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie aktualnego stopnia koncentracji producentów trzody i pogłowia trzody, a także zmian strukturalnych w tym zakresie, jakie nastąpiły po przystąpieniu Polski do Unii Europejskiej. Punktem odniesieniem stopnia koncentracji w Polsce jest stopień koncentracji producentów i pogłowia w takich kra-jach, jak Dania czy Niemcy Materiał i metody Artykuł przygotowano na podstawie danych GUS, Destatis (NImemcy) i Danmarks Statistik (Dania). Jako metodę zastosowano analizę statystyczną. Wyniki Przeprowadzona analiza potwierdza, że pomimo postępu w zakresie koncentracji, zarówno struktura producentów, jak i pogłowie są nadal rozdrobnione. Szczególnie wyraźnie widać to w zestawieniu z wysoką koncentracją chowu w krajach takich, jak Niemcy czy Dania. W Polsce, w porównaniu z tymi krajami, największy odsetek świń znajduje się w gospodarstwach utrzymujących mniej niż 1 000 szt. trzody, choć z drugiej strony odsetek pogłowia utrzymywanego w gospodarstwach posiadających więcej niż 5 000 szt. jest większy niż w Niemczech. Wnioski Z punktu widzenia sprzedaży na Platformie Żywnościowej rozdrobniona struktura nie jest korzystna, gdyż wpływa na rozdrobnienie podaży. Oczekuje się więc, że Platforma Żywnościo-wa poprawi pozycję producentów. Aby jednak tak się stało rolnicy będą musieli tworzyć grupy, czy organizować się w inny sposób celem wzmocnienia swojej pozycji. Z drugiej strony Platforma Żywnościowa, przynajmniej w początkowym okresie, powinna przyjąć na siebie rolę regulatora czy koordynatora rynku.
