Zur Parömiologischen Kompetenz Polnischer Germanistikstudierender

On the basis of survey carried out among students of German Philology the author states that the level of paremiological competence of people studying this subject rises year by year but only to a limited range. The number of students with very limited knowledge of proverbs gets smaller, yet the process should be intensified. Teaching paremiology at the academic level should be better thought over.
