Objective: The authors submitted a proposal of preventive procedures to eliminate the risks of osteonecrosis of the jaw bone in patients treated with bisphosphonates using interdisciplinary cooperation of specialists. Conclusion: Before starting the treatment of bone metastases with bisphosphonates, all patients should have dental examination, dental treatment and dental hygiene treatment as a prevention of osteonecrosis of the jaw bone. The application of preventive approaches can reduce risk and eliminate the incidence of osteonecrosis of the jaw in patients who have to take bisphosphonates
