W UE nasilają się zjawiska protekcjonistyczne, w związku z czym pojawiają się regulacje, którymi kontroluje się i ograniczają szeroko rozumiane inwestycje zagraniczne. Wiele państw członkowskich UE ma takie regulacje i sama UE reguluję tę kwestię. W artykule przeanalizowano podstawy takich regulacji oraz istniejące tendencje w kontekście unijnej strategii „Europejski Zielony Ład" oraz rozwoju nowej unijnej polityki przemysłowej.
