Background Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a common female reproductive-age endocrine disease predominantly characterized by chronic anovulation, hyperandrogenism, insulinresistance and low-grade inflammatory status. Exercise training (ET) favourably modulates cardiopulmonary function and insulinsensitivity markers in PCOS women.
