Understanding the organizational change within historical evolution of Italian parliamentary administrations

In any organization work staff is vital. Parliaments qualify as complex organizations. The use of parliamentary staffs reflects an effort to acquire institutional expertise and professional-ism in the legislative branch to counterbalance a perceived advantage within executive agen-cies. There are different models of parliamentary administration (consulting/registration) be-cause of different models of parliament (decisional/ratifying). Mixed models may emerge end evolve over time. While theories of change are considered to be used to explain, predict and control causal relations, understand and interpret the world, Critical approaches seek to de-velop a political engagement with change. Organizations should be seen as a social process plagued by contradictions and rived by clashing power relations. The generation of new mod-els of organisational change is often a way different groups can seek to advance their interests and reshape relations of power. The focus on the ongoing political dynamics within an or-ganization may shape how meaning emerge and evolve. The call and attentiveness of histori-cal analysis and perspective and research are rising in organization studies. Historical perspec-tive is unavoidable if organization studies is expected to propose critically a reflective or al-ternative vision of society. Strategic and organizational change within historical evolution of Italian parliamentary administrations can be considered as the result of political engagement and behaviour.
