This publication gives the results of a multidisciplinary research carried out over decades about the Tricastin region and the centuriation that has structured its countryside since the end of the Roman republic. This research also related to Gallo-Roman housing forms, through aerial and ground surveys and excavations. This publication gives a detailed synthesis on the evolution of the populating system during Antiquity. This publication ends with an archeological approach of the evolution of landscape due to centuriation.
