Angers : étude chrono-chorématique

International audienceThe chrono-chorematic modelling of Angers (Maine-et-Loire) from the first century BC to the 13th century AD renders key elements of historical topography easily legible, going beyond the level of dots to reach that of surfaces. The comparison of models thus obtained allows us to identify changes and continuities and highlights urban dynamics. The comparison with theoretical models repositions Angers as compared to an ideal-type and highlights the specific features of the object of study.La modélisation chrono-chorématique d'Angers (Maine-et-Loire) du Ier siècle av. J.-C. au XIIIe siècle rend aisément lisibles les éléments majeurs de la topographie historique, dépassant le niveau du point pour atteindre celui de la surface. La confrontation des modèles obtenus permet de repérer les transformations et les persistances et met en évidence la dynamique urbaine. La confrontation avec des modèles théoriques replace Angers par rapport à un idéal-type et met en avant les spécificités propres à l'objet d'étude
