Vehicle to grid communication standards are critical to the charge management and interoperability among plug-in electric vehicles (PEV), charging stations and utility providers. The Society of Automobile Engineers (SAE), International Organization for Standardization (ISO), International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) and the ZigBee Alliance are developing requirements for communication messages and protocols.
