Background: Although photodynamic therapy (PDT) has become the standard treatment for central serous chorioretinopathy (CSC), its mechanism of action remains unclear. It is assumed that PDT induces short-term choriocapillaris (CC) occlusion and long-term choroidal vascular remodeling.
