The thermal performance and durability of the thermally-enhanced concrete with various insulating materials were evaluated through a series of tests. Three types of insulating materials—diatomite powder, hollow micro-spheres, and a micro-foam agent—were used for both normalweight aggregate concrete (NWAC) and lightweight aggregate concrete (LWAC). The thermal conductivity was measured by two different test methods: quick thermal conductivity meter (QTM) and guarded hot wire (GHW) methods. Then, the results were compared with each other.
