Comprehension of vulnerability to coastal erosion in dynamic coastal environments strongly depends on accurate and frequent detection of shoreline position. The monitoring of such environments could benefit from the semi-automatic shoreline delineation method, especially in terms of time, cost, and labour-intensiveness.
