Attributing to the advantages of high efficiency, low electromagnetic interference (EMI) noise and closest to the pulse-width-modulation (PWM) converter counterpart, zero-voltage-transition (ZVT) PWM soft-switching inverters are very suitable for high-performance applications. However, the conventional control algorithms intended for high efficiency generally results in voltage distortion. Thus, this paper, for the first time, proposes a high-precision control method to eliminate the dead-time effect through controlling the auxiliary current in the auxiliary resonant snubber inverter (ARSI), which is a typical ZVT PWM inverter.
