Objective: The purpose of this study is to evaluate the success rate and the peri-implant bone resorption of a new wide implant (Duravit-inn Wide, B&B Dental Implant Comapny S.r.l., Bologna, Italy), used for immediate implant, at 1 year follow-up. Method: 20 implants were placed in post-extraction socket in molar and premolar region. All patient were suitable for oral surgery. The extraction of the tooth was made in the most conservative way. The drilling of the bone left an underprepared site to position the implant. After implant placement, the flap was sutured with 4-0 non-adsorbable sutures.
