Democracy works best when our government represents all of us. The New American Majority— young people, people of color and unmarried women make up a majority of those who are eligible to vote in America, but they are underrepresented in the share of American who cast ballots. That is why VPC and CVI work to support these Americans in their efforts to register to vote and turn out for elections so that they can have the influence they should in our electoral choices. With these goals and work in mind, this analysis provides an initial view into the role of the NAM in the 2020 presidential election
