Integration of sustainability in the product development process based on a selectedpractical example

Die vorliegende Masterarbeit beschäftigt sich mit einer nachhaltigen Produktentwicklung, die ohne große strukturelle und organisatorische Aufwendungen in Unternehmen anzuwenden ist. Unter Verwendung eines neuen Vorgehensmodells werden die Umweltaspekte in den Produktentwicklungsprozess anhand von ausgewählten Methoden und Instrumenten, insbesondere in der Planungsphase, integriert. Ein Praxisbeispiel veranschaulicht dabei die einzelnen Schritte zu nachhaltigen Produktkonzepten, deren Umweltverträglichkeiten bewertet werden.The present master thesis deals with a sustainable product development that can be applied in companies without great structural and organisational efforts. Using a new procedure model, the integration of environmental aspects in to the product development process, based on selected methods and instruments especially in the design stage, is shown. A practical example illustrates the single steps to sustainable product concepts whose environmental compatibilities will be evaluated
