The structural intensity technique was used to determine the in-plane wave power flow in technically orthotropic plates in the frequency domain. The measurement method, applicable for naturally orthotropic plates was used to estimate in-plane vibration power flow in rectangular corrugated plates (technically orthotropic) using the method of elastic equivalence. The in-plane wave power from rectangular corrugated plates was compared to that of isotropic plate. The effect of in-plane stiffness on vibration power flow and input in-plane power to the plates were also investigated.
