Technology impacts on students and teachers alike and there are various tools available that help in enhancing the teaching and learning processes. As large cohorts of teachers are looking for ways to meet the needs of their target audience, the world of blogs (blogosphere) has forayed into the educational environment. Educational blogs are a new technology which are capable of serving as internal and external information sharing and collaboration tools. Blogs can be used across various academic disciplines and levels, making them attractive for adoption by teachers.
