Central Queensland University has used partnerships with national and international educational services management companies to broaden its student base to international students. Central to the relationships are the quality management systems developed to ensure effective learning outcomes and consistent assessment. This paper describes the models used for preparation and delivery of course materials to students and the necessary arrangements between partners required for managing the process. The impact of this on the role of the academic staff and the increased need for effective support is discussed.
