Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) consist of sensor nodes having limited amount of battery power. Sensor nodes sense the data and transmit this data to base station that needs high energy consumption. Numerous routing protocols have been proposed in this regard getting energy efficiency in heterogeneous situations. Efficiency of WSNs declines as changing the heterogeneous parameters of sensor nodes. In this paper, performance of various Distributed Energy- Efficient Clustering based protocols like DDEEC, EDEEC, TDEEC and TADEEC under various scenarios.
