Pollos alimentados con diferentes niveles de harina de Trichanthera gigantea y Erythrina poeppigiana

Two experiments were conducted at the Universidad de los Llanos, Villavicencio (Meta), the main objective was to observe the productive performance of broilers that were given diets with different levels of Trichanthera gigantea flour (TF) and flour Erythrina poeppigiana (EF) (0, 5, 8 and 12%), replacing other sources of protein such as meat meal is traditionally used in poultry diets. The variables studied were: weight gain, consumption, conversion, biological value of protein, coefficient protein efficiency (CPE) and carcass yield. The chickens were distributed in a completely randomized design, consisting of four treatments in experiment one were: control (0% TF), Trichanthera I (5% TF), Trichanthera II (8% TF) III Trichanthera (12% TF), and in experiment two were: control (0%EF), Erythrina I (5% EF), Erythrina II (8% EF) and Erythrina III (12% EF). In the case of TF found that when levels were increased feed intake decreased (P<0,01), the same situation arose with the biological value, but the weight gain, and conversion were similar for witness and 5% of TF to be higher (P<0.01) compared to other treatments (62.9 grams/day/bird, 2.5; 65.0 grams/day/bird and 2.3, respectively). The CPE was better (P<0.01) for 5% of TF (2.7) compared to other treatments. Consumption of food and biological value of protein is not affected when levels increased pore diets, while weight gain was lower (P<0.01) for 12% of EF (50.2 grams/day/bird), the best conversions and the CPE had the witness and 8%EF (2.2 and 2.5, 2.0 and 2.4, respectively). The results of these experiments is concluded that TF and EF can be replaced in diets for broilers up to 5% and 8%, respectively, without adversely affecting the parameters studied, as well as in treatments containing more of these feed the birds showed an intense yellow color of the carcass with less fat compared with the control.Se realizaron dos experimentos en la Universidad de los Llanos, Villavicencio (Meta), cuyo objetivo principal fue observar el comportamiento productivo de pollos de engorde a los que se les suministraron dietas con diferentes niveles de harina de nacedero Trichanthera gigantea (HN) y harina de poró Erythrina poeppigiana (HP) (0, 5, 8 y 12%), reemplazando las otras fuentes de proteína como la harina de carne, que se emplean tradicionalmente en dietas para aves. Las variables estudiadas fueron: aumento de peso, consumo, conversión, valor biológico de la proteína, coeficiente de eficiencia proteica (CEP) y rendimiento en canal. Los pollos se distribuyeron en un diseño completamente al azar, que constaba de cuatro tratamientos que en el experimento uno fueron: Testigo (0% de HN), nacedero I (5% de HN), nacedero II (8% de HN) nacedero III (12% de HN), y en el experimento dos fueron: testigo (0% de HP), poró I (5% de HP), poró II (8% de HP) y poró III (12% de HP). En el caso del nacedero se observó que cuando se iban incrementando los niveles el consumo de alimento decreció (P<0,01), igual situación se presentó con el valor biológico, sin embargo, la ganancia de peso y la conversión fueron similares para el testigo y 5% de HN siendo superiores (P<0,01) con relación a los otros tratamientos (62,9 gramos/día/ave y 2.5; 65.0 gramos/día/ave y 2,3, respectivamente). El CEP fue mejor (P<0,01) para el 5% de HN (2.7) en comparación con los otros tratamientos. El consumo de alimento y el valor biológico de la proteína no se afectaron cuando se incrementaron los niveles de poró en las dietas, mientras que el aumento de peso fue menor (P<0,01) para el 12% de HP (50,2 gramos/día/ave), las mejores conversiones y CEP las presentaron el testigo y 8% de HP (2,2 y 2,5, 2,0 y 2,4, respectivamente). Con los resultados de estos experimentos se concluye que la harina de nacedero y la de poró se pueden reemplazar en las dietas para pollos de engorde hasta en un 5% y 8%, respectivamente, sin que se afecten negativamente los parámetros estudiados, además en los tratamientos que contenían mayor cantidad de estos forrajes, las aves presentaron un color amarillo intenso de la canal con menos grasa en comparación con el testigo
