This research paper deals with the situation of human rights and class conflicts as shown in the tradition of Urdu Novel. The first part of the paper presents theoretical discussion on human rights. In the second part the works of the novelists like Nazir Ahmed, Hadi Ruswa, Prem Chand, Krishan Chander, Qurat-ul-ain Hyder, Anees Nagi, Intzar Hussain, Abdullah Hussain and Tarar have been analyzed in the light of their deep concern with the human rights and class conflict. The paper ends with the conclusion that these writers have been successful in their attempt to discuss these issues in their works
