Fehmida Riaz's poetry is the best example of the unique experience and the kind of feeling, which feminine sense is the name of. Her approach is up to all those feelings and emotions of woman, which can be felt only by her. In her poetry, there is found a clear sense of discrimination shown to woman and restrictions put on her desires. She has used her writings as a weapon to discover the hidden continents of woman's psyche and physical self. The woman in her poetry represents herself as a physical being instead of hesitating from her feminine self and biological needs. Fehmida Riaz opposes the belief against woman as propelled in a male dominant society for centuries and wishes that confidence, fidelity and status to be bestowed on woman as an individual, which she has always been denied of, in a male chauvinistic society.
