Rahim Bakhsh 'Wahshat Multani' was a prominent poet of twentieth century Multani tradition of classical Urdu Poetry. In spite of hardships in finding professional livelihood, he remained close observer of human aesthetic and enjoyed it with full zeal. He was not only a regular contributor to literary circle but was a founding member of so many such literary organizations. He was used to meditate and express in the genre of Ghazal and enjoyed friendship with the prominent poets of his time. His work remained unpublished for a long time and he lost a lot of his Ghazal due to his unsettled and unorganized pattern of life. He died in Nineteen Seventies.
