Mustansar Hussain Tarar, being a notable writer of theage, has created some marvelous novels in which he has attempted to bring forth of colors of local civilization and culture. Aey Ghazal e Shab is his novel which, on one hand, shows the conflicting ideological struggle and on the other hand,Tarar has ventured to bring forth the distinguished features of the civilization of Lahore. The unique thing about Tarar is that he has presented the ancient and modern civilization of Lahore in the novel as parallel manner.
