Subject Review: Brain Tumor Detection Techniques

A brain tumor is one of the main causes of increased mortality among children and adults. The tumor is a major problem that is out of control over the normal force that regulates growth. There are several techniques for segmenting and detecting a brain tumor area on MRI images. In this paper, we provide background reviews of several proposed techniques for the recognition of brain tumors.
