Hazrat Baba Farid ud Din masood Gang Shakar is the founder of Punjabi poetry. He is recognized as the Diwan poet of Punjabi language in South Asia. But he also used to recite poems in Arabic, Persian, Urdu and Hindi. In this article, Baba Farid Shinasi's tradition, attachments and narrations are explained. Such as Farid Shinasi in Persian, Urdu, Punjabi and English is discussed here. Apart from this, the biography of Baba Farid, his prose translation, comparison of texts and system of thought has been studied.
