Josh Malihabadi was a famous urdu poet. Due to his revolutionary urdu poetry, he is known as Shair-e-Inqbilab. He gave almost 17 complete books of his poetry to Urdu literature. He wrote in different types of poetry but specifically, he was a poet of urdu poem. Josh Malihabadi adopted many meters of poetry to express his poetics thoughts. During comparative study of these meters, the researcher founded that Behr-e-Ramal is the favourite meter of Josh Malihabadi. So, the connection of Behr-e-Ramal and Josh’s poetry will be discussed in this article
