"Shehzad Ahmad was a well known poet, prose writer,critic, translator and intellectual. He possessed deepknowledge of science, Philosophy and Psychology. He translated many English books of these disciplines into Urdu. With these translations, he enriched the Urdu language. Shehzad Ahmad was a stylist, visionary, and a scholar poet. The empirical and intellectual aspects of his poetry proved him a great and important poet. Along with traditional topics of knowledge and cognition theecho of scientific theories and principles can be heard in his poetry. The deep insight of science and philosophy gave the variety of themes to his poetry. Shehzad Ahmad was a distinguished poet and was very prominent among the fellows of his age. Shehzad made a valuable contribution in the scientific Urdu poetry. In this article the scientific consciousness of Shehzad Ahmad is examined.
