Bu çalışma ile, Trakya bölgesinde yetişen, Solanum nigrum L. (Solanaceae) bitkisinin yağ asitleri bileşiminin belirlenmesi; Solanum dulcamara L. (Solanaceae) yaprak ve meyvelerinin diklormetan ile metanol ekstrelerinin üç farklı yöntemle (ß-karoten-Linoleik asit, DPPH serbest radikali giderimi ve CUPRAC) antioksidan aktivitesinin tayini amaçlanmıştır. Çalışılacak bitkiler, Temmuz-Ağustos ayları arasında Trakya bölgesinden toplandıktan sonra, gölgede kurutulmuştur. S. dulcamara bitkisi meyve ve yapraklarına ayrılarak, her iki bitki kısmı, ayrı ayrı, diklormetan ve metanol ile maserasyon yöntemi kullanılarak ekstrakte edilmiştir.
