This study calculated the area and volume of the quarries located in Suleymanpasa district of Tekirdag province using geographic information systems (GIS) that have recently been employed in almost all disciplines and are very effective in terms of reliability, speed, process, output, and comprehensible results. All aerial photographs in this study were taken using a drone; no satellite images were used.
