In order to determine the adverse effects of salt stress on color of spinach leaves, plants were grown in a climate chamber set at 22/18°C (day/night) temperature, 70% humidity, 10/14 h (light/dark) photoperiod and 400 µmol m-2 s-1 light intensity conditions. In this research ‘Meridien F1’ and ‘San Moreno F1’ cultivars and Hoagland nutrient solution as a hydroponic growing system were used. Salt applications have been started from the period which plants have 4-5 true leaves and continued to harvested time.
