Investigation of the effects of archery athletes' in sports visualization skills on target orientation levels

Bu araştırmanın amacı okçuluk sporu ile ilgilenen sporcuların imgeleme becerileri ve hedef yönelimleri arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemektir. Araştırma grubu; araştırma grubunu 2019-2020 yılları arasında Türkiye okçuluk federasyonuna bağlı 116 erkek ve 135 kadın olmak üzere 251 gönüllü sporcudan oluşmaktadır. Araştırma örnekleminin belirlenmesi için tesadüfi örnekleme yöntemi kullanılmıştır. İlişkisel tarama yöntemi ile yapılan araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak Sporda İmgeleme Envanteri ve Sporda Hedef (Görev ve Ego) Yönelimi Envanteri kullanılmıştır. Verilerin çözüm ve yorumlamasında önce araştırma bulgularına kolmogorov smirnov testi ve Shapiro-Wilk testi ve ayrıca Skewness ve Kurtosis değerlerine göre normallik dağılımları yapılmış ve p0.05 and standard error values are between -1,961,96; we can say that the data is distributed not normally. As a result of this study; It was determined that the imagination skills of the athletes had an effect on the target orientation, and a positive difference was found between the imagination skills of the archers and the target orientation. As a result of this difference, it can be said that as the motivational and cognitive special dimension increase, the task and ego orientation, which are the sub-dimensions of target orientation, also increased. As a result, it can be said that variations in the sub-dimensions of imagination with the determined variables has an effect on target orientation
