Sir Syed Ahmad Khan wrote various essays with the intention to inspire Muslim Community of British India to improve their condition. With the same intent ‘Tehzeeb-ul-Akhlaq’ was published in order to keep interest of the readers, he added fictional and psychological elements in his essays, but without effecting the cause of such writings. Fictional and psychological aspects contain different symbols but we see the different symbols consolidated in the essays of Sir Syed and so it becomes an important source to achieve his cause through his essays. This articles critically analyses these symbolic and fictional elements in Sir Syed’s writings.
