Ghulam Mohiyuddin Qasoori was a renowned religious and spiritual personality of the subcontinent. He was a great scholar, mystic, writer and poet. He was well versed in Arabic, Persian, Urdu and Punjabi. He composed his verse both in Persian and Arabic. He had composed a Qasida in Arabic language in praise of the holy Prophet (PBUH). He very aptly used words in it giving them innovative meanings which made this rendition a veritable contribution to the Arabic literature.
