Bu çalısmada Fusarium oxysporum Schlechtend.: Fr. f. sp. cepae (H. N. Hans. ) W. C. Snyder H. N. Hans tarafından olusturulan soganda dip çürüklügü hastalıgının baskı altına alınmasında toprak fungistasisinin etkisini belirlemek amacıyla Tekirdag ili ve çevresindeki sogan (Allium cepa L.) tarlalarından 27 toprak örnegi test edilmistir. Toprak örnekleri soganın fide döneminde rizosfer bölgesinden 2-20 cm derinlikte alınmıs ve bazı fizikokimyasal özellikleri belirlinmistir. Fungistasis, toprak örneklerindeki uçucu bilesiklerin patojen fungusun spor çimlenmesini engellemesi ve antagonist fungus populasyonunun belirlenmesi olmak üzere iki yöntemle degerlendirilmistir.
