Spirulina platensis which is an important microalgae is interested in both human and animal nutrition for health balance. This study's aimed to evaluate the dose dependent effects of S.platensis on body weight, height, waist circumference (WC), body mass index (BMI), waist/height ratio (WHtR), abdominal fat weight, liver weight, serum liver enzymes and liver histopathology. 30 male Wistar albino rats're used in groups; Control, SP-1(500mg/kgbw) and SP-2(1000mg/kgbw).
